Rescue maze is a top tier rescue robot competition. It stimulates a real-life emergency site, where the robot has to navigate through the maze to rescue the victims by deploying rescue kits. Then, return to the starting point for the next rescue mission. We utilize distance sensor, temperature sensor, optical sensor, compass, gyroscope, and the help of OCR and path searching algorithm to accomplish the tasks. During each mission, all kinds of obstacles, ranging from wood battens, sawdust, bottles to pasta noodles, and dog treats, await.

Therefore, you need all-round skills to overcome the challenge. This is the hardest league in RCJ. Around the world, numbers of teams qualified to take part in this competition are limited, and we are one of the top teams among those. We urge you to take part in the challenge. Resources wouldn’t be a problem as long as you put in your time and effort. Moreover, with the help of alumni from Chiao Tung University, Sun Yat-sen University, Chung Hsing University, Taiwan Ocean University, Purdue University, and Berlin Institute of Technology, you are only one step away from conquering the apex.
